Onboarding resources

The following resources are available to support you during your onboarding:

Planning for success

Acquia has identified that successful Personalization implementations have alignment across the project team and organization. Acquia suggests that you identify personnel for the following roles:

  • Executive Sponsor: Provides the vision and acts as the primary stakeholder for the success of the Personalization implementation.
  • Project Manager: Facilitates and tracks the progress of the implementation, and acts as the primary point of contact.
  • Personalization Administrator: Performs all Personalization administrative duties, including defining permissions, creating campaigns, defining metadata structure, and reporting.
  • Technical Subject Matter Expert: Assists with module installation, configuration, or other technical implementation details.

Customer preparation

The Personalization onboarding is effective if you:

  • Have Personalization use cases: You must have at least one clearly defined, basic use case for website personalization. For example, you must know details such as:
    • Who should see the personalized content
    • Where do you want your users to view the personalized content
    • What personalized content you want to show.
  • Have well-defined website and business goals for Personalization: You must be able to identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that you want to achieve by running website personalizations.
  • Gather content for Personalization use cases: If you do not have personalized content, you must identify resources and processes to produce content according to the project schedule.
  • Are available to work with Personalization: Successful Personalization onboarding requires stakeholders to commit to five weekly training sessions and self-paced online learning.
